First refer to the importance of interpersonal relationships between the actors involved: authors, referees, members of the Editorial Staff and the Editorial Board of the Facultad de Filosofía y Letras (UBA). The authors focus on the skills displayed by the Editorial Staff: identify each communication process as a direct linkage liable to a dedicated personal attention; be flexible to take on new challenges to ensure continuity and meet the quality requirements of a journal; distribute tasks and trained the staff in the procedures necessary to shorten the time of publication; ensure the visibility of the journal by following the steps and routines established with the publication of each issue; integrated into national projects to improve the scientific publishing. The biggest challenge ahead is the migration of the editorial management to an automated system, and the assurance of pass on specific and complex tasks to those who must continue the editing of the journal in the future. Desde la experiencia acumulada desde los inicios de la edición de la revista del Instituto de Investigaciones Bibliotecológicas, las autoras destacan una serie de elementos centrales en la gestión de una periódica de este tipo. En primer término se refieren a la importancia de las relaciones interpersonales entre los actores involucrados: autores, evaluadores, miembros del Comité de Redacción y del Consejo Editor de la Facultad de Filosofía y Letras (UBA). Las autoras enfocan en las capacidades desplegadas por el Comité de Redacción: identificar cada proceso comunicativo como una vinculación particular pasible de una dedica atención personalizada; ser flexibles al asumir y afrontar nuevos desafíos para asegurar la continuidad y cumplir con los requisitos de calidad de una revista científica; distribuir las tareas y capacitarse en los procedimientos necesarios para acortar los tiempos de publicación; procurar la visibilidad de la revista mediante el cumplimiento de los pasos necesarios y las rutinas establecidas con la publicación de cada número; integrarse en proyectos nacionales de mejoramiento de la edición científica.
