El objeto de este artículo es ofrecer numerosos datos objetivos y una mirada personal sobre ellos que permitan esclarecer los efectos de la censura entre 1945 y 1955 en nuestro campo  teatral. Examinamos los cambios generados por el  control del estado,  y qué afectó de manera radical  a  autores, directores, actores, críticos  y empresarios.
