Sumario:The daily mobility of people in the metropolis of São Paulo is increasingly linked to the loss of time in traffic, high congestion and inefficient and overcrowded public transport. This article aims to understand the most current results of mobility in the daily life of the metropolis of São Paulo, in relation to the movements and perceptions of motorized users (public and individual). Therefore, this article is based on a multiestratégica methodology, which aims to integrate quantitative and qualitative approaches. In the quantitative approach, it sought to analyze the search Origin-Destination of the São Paulo Metro and volumes and speeds of reports of Cia. Engineering and Traffic (CET) of São Paulo. In the qualitative research, the work was based on a methodology that focused on two groups: on one hand, interviewed 25 users of public transportation (bus, train and metro) and 25 users of individual transport (car drivers and motorcyclists). The increase in the time lost in the daily displacements, related to the increase of the slowness and decrease of the average speed, that helps to reveal the mobility as constraints in the metropolis of São Paulo.
