This article aims to understand the most current results of mobility in the daily life of the metropolis of São Paulo, in relation to the movements and perceptions of motorized users (public and individual). Therefore, this article is based on a multiestratégica methodology, which aims to integrate quantitative and qualitative approaches. In the quantitative approach, it sought to analyze the search Origin-Destination of the São Paulo Metro and volumes and speeds of reports of Cia. Engineering and Traffic (CET) of São Paulo. In the qualitative research, the work was based on a methodology that focused on two groups: on one hand, interviewed 25 users of public transportation (bus, train and metro) and 25 users of individual transport (car drivers and motorcyclists). The increase in the time lost in the daily displacements, related to the increase of the slowness and decrease of the average speed, that helps to reveal the mobility as constraints in the metropolis of São Paulo.  A mobilidade cotidiana das pessoas na metrópole de São Paulo vincula-se cada vez mais pela perda de tempo no trânsito, aos imensos congestionamentos e aos transportes coletivos ineficientes e superlotados. Este artigo visa compreender os resultados mais atuais da mobilidade no cotidiano na metrópole de São Paulo, no que se refere aos deslocamentos e percepções dos usuários dos transportes motorizados (coletivos e individuais). Para tanto, este artigo baseia-se em uma metodologia multiestratégica, que visa integrar os enfoques quantitativos e qualitativos. No enfoque quantitativo, buscou-se enfocar a Pesquisa Origem-Destino do Metrô de São Paulo nos anos de 1997 a 2012 e os relatórios de Volumes e Velocidades da Cia. de Engenharia e Trafego (CET) de São Paulo dos anos de 1994 a 2012. Já para a pesquisa qualitativa, o trabalho valeu-se de uma metodologia que enfocou dois grupos em especial: de um lado, entrevistou 25 usuários dos transportes coletivos (ônibus, trem e metrô) e 25 usuários dos transportes individuais (motoristas de automóveis e motociclistas).
