Youths are detained in these institutions because they are considered by the justice system to be "offenders or alleged offenders" of criminal law in force. In this article I focus on how daily educational practices and the particular meanings that structure "education" are configured. In this paper I will address some theoretical-methodological reflections related to the particular characteristics that my labor insertion -as a teacher and socio-educational worker- in the same institutional field in which I develop my ethnographic practice imprinted to the process of knowledge construction. At the same time, I will refer to how the approach to these methodological aspects are deeply interlinked and allow us to address socio-historical processes of our recent past.

El presente artículo se enmarca en una investigación etnográfica iniciada a fines del año 2015 (y en curso) realizada en un Centro Socioeducativo de Régimen Cerrado, ubicado en la Ciudad de Buenos Aires. En estas instituciones se encuentran detenidos jóvenes menores de edad, por ser considerados por la justicia “infractores o presuntos infractores” de la ley penal vigente. En ella abordo, centralmente, cómo se configuran las prácticas cotidianas educativas y los sentidos particulares que allí estructuran a “la educación”. En este escrito abordaré algunas reflexiones de orden teórico-metodológicas relacionadas con las características particulares que imprimió al proceso de construcción de conocimiento, mi inserción laboral -como docente y operadora socioeducativa- en el mismo campo institucional en el cual desarrollo mi práctica etnográfica. Al mismo tiempo, me referiré a cómo el abordaje de estos aspectos metodológicos se encuentran profundamente entrelazados y permiten abordar procesos sociohistóricos de nuestro pasado reciente. O presente artigo é enquadrado em uma pesquisa etnográfica iniciada nos finais do ano 2015 (e em andamento) realizada em um Centro Socioeducativo de Regime Fechado, localizado na Cidade de Buenos Aires. Nestas instituições se encontram detidos jovens menores de idade, por serem considerados pelo sistema de justiça como “infratores ou supostos infratores” da Lei Penal em vigor. Nela abordo, centralmente, como são configuradas as práticas cotidianas educativas e os significados particulares que lá estruturam a educação”. Nesse texto abordarei algumas reflexões de tipo teórico-metodológicas relacionadas às características particulares que minha inserção no trabalho -como docente e operadora socioeducativa- no mesmo campo institucional no qual desenvolvo minha prática etnográfica marcou no processo de construção de conhecimento.
