In this line is the art historian Griselda Pollock, who, like Aby Warburg and Walter Benjamin, challenges some of the most conventional assumptions of historiography and disarms the canons to look again at the fissures through which it filters into art History the art made by women. In recent works, Pollock follows the inspiration of the warburgian atlas to set up an archive of art made by women– a kind of virtual feminist museum– that relocates the works in a dialogue that forces us to rethink not only the disciplinary limitations, but a whole epistemological reconfiguration of art.  Evaluar la noción de “archivo” en el ámbito de la teoría contemporánea implica tener en cuenta una tradición que abreva en la filosofía de Michel Foucault de fines de los años 1960 (especialmente en Arqueología del saber de 1969) y de Jacques Derrida en torno a su obra Mal de archivo de 1995, además de reelaboraciones recientes que intentan desplegar una perspectiva más radical. En esta línea se ubica la historiadora del arte Griselda Pollock, quien, como Aby Warburg y Walter Benjamin, desafía algunos de los presupuestos más convencionales de la historiografía y desarma los cánones para volver a mirar las fisuras a través de las cuales se filtra en la historia el arte hecho por mujeres.
