| Sumario: | This research was developed due to the absence of publications on the profile of professors in Library Science in Argentina. The goal is not only to have a current picture of the situation of academics at the university, but also to know the characteristics of the new job scenario, as well as to identify problems and opportunities. The analysis was carried out on the teaching population of the three institutions that grant the title of Professor of Librarianship in Argentina: Universidad de Buenos Aires, Universidad Nacional de La Plata, and Universidad Nacional de Mar del Plata. As a result, a set of characteristics shared by the teachers of the three universities was noted, which demonstrates the existence of a common profile. |
