Second, within educational inequalities processes, I analyze high classes’ school selection practices. This paper is an attempt to describe how high classes participate in struggles with other class fractions within the educational space. In doing so, they profit from “family’s close protections” that schools help to reinforce. Este artículo introduce los resultados de una investigación que analiza la relación entre educación y “clase alta” en la Argentina. Partiendo del estudio de las experiencias formativas de miembros de “la clase alta”, atiende a dos preocupaciones principales. Por un lado, en el marco de la reconfiguración de la representación acerca de la relación entre familias y escuelas se analizan los modos en que los miembros de “la clase alta” construyen sentidos y prácticas en torno de la escuela y la escolarización. Por otra parte, frente a los procesos de fragmentación educativa, se indaga en torno de los sentidos y las prácticas que se despliegan respecto de la selección de las escuelas en “la clase alta”. Se describe cómo “la clase alta” participa de disputas dentro del espacio educativo con otras fracciones de clase apoyada en las “protecciones próximas” que la propia escuela contribuye a reforzar. Este artigo apresenta os resultados de uma pesquisa que analisa a relação entre educação e “classe superior” na Argentina. A partir do estudo das experiências dos membros da “classe superior”, o artigo discorre sobre duas preocupações principais. Por um lado, no marco da reconfiguração da representação sobre a relação entre famílias e escolas, se analisam os modos nos quais os membros da “classe superior” constroem sentidos e práticas em torno à escola e à escolarização. Por otra parte, de frente aos processos de fragmentação educativa, se indaga em torno dos sentidos e das práticas em respeito à seleção das escolas na “classe superior”.
