Su autor, David Cohen de Lara menciona en el prólogo las fuentes utilizadas pero omite la de Thesaurus Linguae Graecae de H. Stephanus, cuya presencia es indiscutible, como lo demuestran algunos ejemplos que se transcriben en el trabajo.
