Compared with other European travelers texts (French, English), which shows an already developed sentiment of national community, the case of Italians is paradoxical: they belong to one of the youngest nations which, at the same time, is considered the richest in history and traditions among all other Europeans countries. El presente ensayo propone el análisis de un corpus de textos de viajeros italianos en la Argentina de finales del siglo XIX y principios del XX.
