Bringing together historical and anthropological perspectives, it approaches the coexistence of multiple temporalities and rhythms, and diverse subjective experiences of time. It recovers the concepts of the coeval, of reversibility and of turbulence that counter the tendency to reproduce evolutionary schemes in studying educational processes. Finally, it proposes a dynamic concept of the everyday, as a process closely linked to social reproduction. Al revisar las maneras de pensar la temporalidad, este artículo ahonda en la complejidad de las culturas escolares. Aunando perspectivas históricas y antropológicas, aborda la coexistencia de múltiples temporalidades y ritmos, y distintas experiencias subjetivas del tiempo. Sugiere conceptos como la coetaneidad, la reversibilidad y la turbulencia que contrarrestan la tendencia a reproducir esquemas evolucionistas de tiempo en el estudio de lo educativo. Finalmente, propone un concepto dinámico de lo cotidiano, como proceso vinculado a la reproducción social. Juntando perspectivas históricas e antropológicas, pensa-se a coexistência de múltiplas temporalidades e ritmos, assim como diferentes experiências subjetivas do tempo. Sugerem-se conceitos como a coetaneidade, a reversibilidade e a turbulência que se opõem à tendência a reproduzir esquemas evolucionistas do tempo nos estudos do fenômeno educativo.
