Considering the time at which different normatives were approved, a sequence of stages can be distinguished in the structure of this justice. We have arranged this course as from identifying the assigned senses to the opposition to guardianship/responsibility at different time, in order to investigate the main hegemonic perspectives in the “minors” classification. We are interested in analyzing these categories since they have contributed in shaping specific “social attitudes” such as that of the minors’ judge, and legitimate their attributes and prerogatives. Este artículo se propone analizar las categorías sobre las cuales se ha construido la justicia de menores en nuestro país. Tomando como hitos los momentos de sanción de distintas normativas, se distingue una serie de etapas en la conformación de esta justicia. Organizamos este recorrido a partir de identificar los sentidos asignados a la oposición tutela/responsabilidad en distintos momentos, con el objetivo de indagar sobre las principales perspectivas hegemónicas en la categorización de los “menores”.
