Debates inside and outside of the discipline they generated focuses, here characterized as the anthropology like resource, as intervention, as ethnographyc contemporary and finally as present´s anthropology. The critical reflection of the different anthropological schools offers key concepts to the authors of the social studies of science whom incorporate them in some cases as contributions like relativism and culture´s categories impregnating the interpretative point of vue of anthropologists, historians and sociologists of the science. They stand out, in particular, the contributions of Rabinow and Althabe overcoming the last walls protectors of the cultural relativism, and their analogical use in the study of the own society. In that new scenario the anthropologist finds his place, it builds his study object and configurates the autonomy of his intervention. Los cambios científicos y tecnológicos producidos en el campo académico e industrial desde fines del siglo XX plantean un desafío para la antropología, en cuanto recurso analítico para comprenderlos y explicarlos. Debates dentro y fuera de la disciplina generaron enfoques aquí caracterizados como la antropología como recurso, como intervención, como etnografía de lo contemporáneo y como antropología del presente. La reflexión crítica de las diferentes escuelas antropológicas ofrece conceptos claves a los autores de los estudios sociales de la ciencia, que en algunos casos los incorporan como aportes Categorías como relativismo y cultura impregnaron el marco interpretativo tanto de antropólogos como de historiadores y sociólogos de la ciencia. Se destacan, en particular, los aportes de Rabinow y Althabe superadores de las últimas murallas protectoras del relativismo cultural, y su uso analógico en el estudio de la propia sociedad.
