Münster was exposed to powerful Protestant influences, which culminated in the notorious Anabaptist kingdom of 1534. After the defeat of radical Protestantism the city was returned to Catholicism and eventually a stringent programme of reform was enforced. The article shows how the Tridentine reforms influenced perceptions of gender and discusses how the women, and in particular servant girls, experienced these changes.  Al examinar diferentes formas de desviación, este artículo se pregunta cómo las reformas religiosas provocadas por el Concilio de Trento afectaron la disciplina y moralidad en mujeres y hombres. Mi estudio de caso es la ciudad de Münster, situada en el norte del Sacro Imperio Romano Germánico. Münster estuvo expuesta a las poderosas influencias protestantes, que culminaron en el notorio reino Anabaptista de 1534. Después de la derrota del Protestantismo radical la ciudad retornó al Catolicismo y eventualmente se aplicó un estricto programa de reformas.
