I28-R145-3981_oai2025-11-17 Brownell, Pamela 2017-12-02 As part of the present dossier dedicated to the relations between theatre, politics and society in the South, and, particularly, to the new incidence strategies displayed by artists and cultural activists, we present this interview to Marcelo Díaz, poet and responsible for many cultural initiatives promoted by different cultural institutions in the city of Bahía Blanca, Argentina. These initiatives are really interesting and provocative examples that enable a reflection on the possibilities of art as a dynamic space where to work with communities and their memories. The dialogue focuses on the description of some of these experiences as well as on the discussion of some relevant issues concerning the perspectives for a desirable public cultural policy.
