Sumario:The passenger railway system of the Buenos Aires Metropolitan Region is subject of recurring social conflict that set significant changes in urban daily mobility. In this stage, collective action assumes a heterogeneous range of shapes with different levels of institutionalization, disruptive capacity, innovation and violence. We intend to describe and analyze the forms taken on by conflicts between October 2002 and May 2015 in the above mentioned railway system. Our hypothesis postulates the existence of sharp confrontation repertoires that are based on pre-existing cultures claim and the degree and type of power that each actor develops.
