Within circuits of dissemination, visibility and legitimacy of art that were structured in Argentina, there has been a trend by which metropolitan cities like Buenos Aires have condensed exhibition and marketing spaces with more recognition in this field, thus becoming a privileged center for legitimizing cultural productions and producers. However, the installation of cultural centers in different localities of the Buenos Aires province has generated changes in this distribution dynamics by including spaces that were previously marginalized in the art map. Through a case study, I analyze the changes brought about in the cultural context of Las Flores, a city in the province of Buenos Aires, with the emergence of “La Despensa Cultural”, an independent cultural center promoting the achievements of artists who live in the town. The article aims to examine if the installation of this space created new opportunities locally for the artistic and professional development of artists who lived there. |

Dentro de los circuitos de difusión, visibilidad y legitimación artísticos que se estructuraron en nuestro país, es posible observar una tendencia en que ciudades metropolitanas como Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires han concentrado los espacios de exhibición y comercialización con mayor reconocimiento dentro de este campo, y se han convertido así en centros privilegiados de legitimación de producciones y productores culturales. Sin embargo, la instalación de centros culturales en diferentes localidades de la provincia de Buenos Aires ha generado modificaciones en estas dinámicas de distribución al incorporar al mapa del arte lugares antes marginados. A partir de un estudio de caso, intentaré hacer un aporte a la problemática mencionada analizando los cambios provocados en el contexto cultural de Las Flores, una ciudad del interior de la provincia de Buenos Aires, a partir del surgimiento de “La Despensa Cultural”, un centro cultural independiente destinado a promover las realizaciones de los artistas que habitaban en dicha localidad. Mi intención es observar si la instalación de este espacio generó nuevas posibilidades en el ámbito local para el desarrollo artístico y profesional de los artistas que allí vivían. Dentro dos circuitos de divulgação visibilidade e legitimidade artística que foram estruturados em nosso país (Argentina), pode-se ver uma tendência onde as cidades metropolitanas, como Buenos Aires, têm concentrado espaços de exposição e comercialização com bastante reconhecimento neste campo, e tem se convertido assim em centros privilegiados de legitimação de produção e produtores culturais. No entanto, a instalação de centros culturais em diferentes lugares da província de Buenos Aires tem gerado mudanças nessas dinâmicas de distribuição ao incorporar ao mapa áreas antes marginalizadas. A partir de um estudo de caso, tentarei fazer uma contribuição para a problemática mencionada, analisando as mudanças trazidas no contexto cultural de Las Flores, uma cidade do interior da província de Buenos Aires, Argentina, a partir do surgimento de “La Despensa Cultural”, um centro cultural independente que promove as realizações dos artistas que moram na cidade.
