La población estudiada está conformada por alumnos de las siguientes Universidades: Nacional de la Pampa, Nacional San Juan Bosco, Nacional de La Plata, Nacional de Mar del Plata, Nacional del Comahue y Nacional del Sur. Conocer las elecciones realizadas es una información relevante para las entidades de turismo públicas y privadas. Palabras clave: turismo joven, destinos turísticos exterior, vacaciones verano 2010. Abstract This paper focuses on the study of trip destinations abroad chosen by young people of Argentinian National Universities during the summer of 2010. This work describes selected tourist destinations, means of transport used, type of accommodation, influences on choices and length of stay at a destination. The population examined consists of students from the National University of La Pampa, the National University San Juan Bosco, the National University of La Plata, the National University of Mar del Plata, National University of Comahue and the Southern National University. The choices made have proved to be relevant information for public and private tourism institutions.
