Our research in these rural indigenous communities start to recognize the existence of a marked trend towards seasonal gestation due to concomitant seasonality of births in the towns, that make up the judicial district of Valle Grande; Yunga’s basin located east of the Quebrada de Humahuaca. This seasonality accompanied throughout the century transhumant family displacements covering livestock grazing circuits and making small horticultural crops in different ecological zones. Even if your analysis is progressively deployed throughout the text, specific treatment will be raised at the end of work, from the comparison of the activities carried out within the genealogy of the same set of names distributed in both territories, orderly and analyzed through a micro - structural analysis reticular.  En el presente trabajo deseamos presentar algunos resultados del análisis cotejado de los padrones y actas bautismales de las localidades de Valle Grande y La Candelaria; ambas ubicadas en los valles orientales de la actual provincia argentina de Jujuy, durante el siglo XIX. Nuestra investigación en estas comunidades indígenas campesinas parte de reconocer la existencia de una marcada tendencia a la gestación estacional y como consecuencia a una concomitante estacionalidad de los nacimientos, en las localidades que integran el distrito jurisdiccional de Valle Grande; cuenca de yungas ubicada al este de la quebrada de Humahuaca. Dicha estacionalidad acompañó durante todo el siglo los desplazamientos familiares que cubrían circuitos trashumantes pastoreando el ganado y realizando pequeños cultivos hortícolas en diversos pisos ecológicos.
