The article is part of an ongoing investigation about the history of medical anthropology in Argentina. En este artículo se desarrollan algunas reflexiones teórico-conceptuales sobre el quehacer de los antropólogos que investigan sobre la historia de la propia disciplina. En particular, se analizan aspectos relativos a los diferentes “lugares” desde los que se construye la historia y a las categorías analíticas a las que se recurre para ello, tomando las propuestas de un conjunto de autores adscriptos a este campo. El trabajo forma parte de una investigación en curso sobre la historia de la antropología médica en la Argentina. Neste artigo apresenta-se algumas reflexões teóricas e conceituais sobre o trabalho dos antropólogos que pesquisam a história da disciplina. Em particular, analisa-se aspectos relativos aos diferentes “lugares” de onde se constrói a história e as categorias de análise utilizadas para isso, levando as propostas de um grupo de autores adscritos a este campo.
