| Sumario: | Participation involves not only an action, also a fiction that surrounds it and gives it meaning. This article discusses some paradigmatic changes in the ways of understanding the relationship between the work and the public, and from that point the discourse of participation since the sixties. To do so, theoretically, some studies that have marked those years and others who have had special relevance in the present moment will be considered, and from the perspective of the current stage several works will be discussed from the point of view of the relation to the spectator and the way to involve him in the stage event. Participation is presented not only as the possibility of an action but as a performative element of a representation holding a fiction collectively. |
