The main thesis establishes that this idea is the result of a process where the overcoming of “singularity” takes place and, together with it, the aspiration previous to the constitution of the ethical substance or State, meaning , the aspiration of getting for itself a recognition under the form of “absolute singularity”. The argument under which such thesis is exposed is that this process of overcoming is in itself a movement of “reflection” or of overcoming singularity itself. With it I try to show that negation of itself equals in Hegel to the essential condition of every process of being recognized of the singular, not just by other singularity, but by the ethical totality as a whole. Thus, the argument seeks to show that the self-negation movement represents the overcoming of the aporiae that derive from a search of knowledge through a “quarrel”; with this process the idea of overcoming in Hegel of itself is disclosed as an expression of a fundamental ethical disposition, essential for the life lived in the State.  En el presente artículo se pretende mostrar el proceso de formación que conduce en la filosofía práctica de Hegel a la idea de central de “Eticidad absoluta”. La tesis de fondo es la de que esta idea se presenta como resultado de un proceso en el que tiene lugar la superación de la “singularidad” y, con éste, de la pretensión que la acompaña antes de la constitución de la sustancia ética o el Estado, a saber, la pretensión de obtener para sí un reconocimiento en la forma de “singularidad absoluta”. Que este proceso de superación es en sí mismo un movimiento de “reflexión” o de superación de la propia singularidad, es el argumento bajo el que se expone dicha tesis. Con ésta se busca mostrar que la negación de sí equivale en Hegel a la condición esencial de todo llegar a ser reconocido del singular no sólo por otra singularidad, sino por el todo de la totalidad ética.
