Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become essential to create smarter products and services and make organizations increasingly competitive, increasing operational efficiency and reducing costs by automating repetitive tasks and optimizing processes. AI is transforming the world as we conceived it until now, creating a future that will impact human society in ways we could only imagine before. Within a business organization, AI constitutes a new intangible asset that generates added value in each component of its structure. This work deals exclusively with AI applied to the business organization and will not describe the internal mechanisms of AI, such as neural networks (NN), generative networks (GN), massive data (Big Data), machine learning (Machine Learning), transformer architectures (TA), Large Language Models (LLM), etc. The basic concepts of AI and its state of the art are described. The impact of AI on a business organization is surveyed, without conditioning its size, sector, type or activity. For this, the structure of strategic maps, by Kaplan and Norton, is used, describing for each component its function in the map and the impact that AI has. A list is presented with 45 world-leading companies, according to the HAI (Human-Centered AI), of Stanford University, in its 2022 annual report. Likewise, a list is presented with 10 Argentine companies, leaders in AI, that today are recognized by the Chat GPT tool. At the end of the work, future projections of AI are briefly discussed.

Las empresas están viviendo una transformación digital, que coloca la tecnología en el centro de sus estrategias y promueve la digitalización y la automatización de procesos. La Inteligencia Artificial (IA) se ha vuelto esencial para crear productos y servicios más inteligentes y hacer que las organizaciones sean cada vez más competitivas, ya que se aumenta la eficiencia operativa y se reduce los costos al automatizar tareas repetitivas y optimizar procesos. La IA está transformando el mundo tal como lo concebíamos hasta ahora, creando un futuro que impactará en la sociedad humana de una manera que antes solo podíamos imaginar. Dentro de una organización empresarial, la IA constituye un nuevo activo intangible que genera un valor agregado en cada componente de su estructura. En este trabajo se trata exclusivamente la IA aplicada a la organización empresarial y no se describirán los mecanismos internos de la IA, tales como redes neuronales (NN), redes generativas (GN), datos masivos (Big Data), aprendizaje automático (Machine Learning), arquitecturas transformer (TA), Modelos Masivos de Lenguaje (LLM), etc. Se describen los conceptos básicos de la IA y su estado del arte. Se releva la incidencia de la IA en una organización empresarial, sin condicionar su tamaño, sector, tipo o actividad. Para ello se usa la estructura de los mapas estratégicos, de Kaplan y Norton, describiendo para cada componente su función en el mapa y la incidencia que tiene la IA. Se presenta un listado con 45 empresas líderes mundiales, según el HAI (Human-Centered AI), de la Universidad de Stanford, en su reporte anual 2022. Asimismo, se presenta un listado con 10 empresas argentinas, líderes en AI, que hoy están reconocidas por la herramienta Chat GPT.
