After framing the exposition within rural development policies and the place that the category ”family farming” has come to occupy in the institutional framework, policies, and programs in Argentina, we present the fundamental elements of PRODERPA and the peasant graziers and indigenous communities of Neuquén, who are the protagonists of the two mentioned experiences. These experiences are the ACCAN (Association of Angora Goat Breeders of Neuquén) and MAYAMA (Mapuce Arts and Crafts Table). Eventually, final considerations are formulated regarding the factors and lessons that operated and emerged from both cases.
