The transformations caused by global land policies and the configuration of the new agri-food system have not only deepened territorial disputes, but also caused new cartographies of social struggles with languages of valuation of common goods. In the first place we point out the characteristics and particularities of the agrarian question in Paraguay, then we analyze the occupations considering them as part of a process of the struggle for land. In a country where economic activity is focused on primary production, with 94% of the land for agricultural use used by agribusiness, 2.6% of the owners concentrate 85.5% of the land, and 91.4% of the peasant population has 6% of the agricultural area. En este artículo presentamos un análisis de las disputas territoriales frente al nuevo sistema agroalimentario en Paraguay, focalizando en la estrategia de ocupación de tierra en los últimos 30 años. Estas se han convertido en una acción colectiva masiva desde la década de los noventa, gracias a la cual se construyeron territorios campesinos; ante la negación de los gobiernos de encarar una reforma agraria. Las transformaciones provocadas por las políticas globales de tierra y la configuración del nuevo sistema agroalimentario no sólo han profundizado las disputas territoriales, sino también, provocado nuevas cartografías de luchas sociales con lenguajes de valorización de los bienes comunes. En primer lugar, señalamos las características y particularidades de la cuestión agraria en Paraguay, luego analizamos las ocupaciones considerándolas como parte de un proceso de la lucha por la tierra.
