Ana María Lorandi, who dedicated over fifty years to academic research. This finds as active as ever, working on new projects and following the new generations of anthropologists interested in Ethnohistory. In writing this article, we think of honoring it by examining its contribution through three forms of action that she developed prominently: management, research and insertion into transnational networks. Throughout the text we proposed to recover his voice, trying to incorporate his vision of the history of scientific development in which played a key role. En el año 2016 la Dra. Ana María Lorandi cumplió ochenta años de vida, más de cincuenta de los cuales han sido dedicados a la práctica investigativa. El presente la encuentra tan activa como siempre, trabajando en nuevos proyectos y acompañando a las nuevas generaciones de antropólogos interesados en la Etnohistoria. Al escribir este artículo hemos pensado en homenajearla examinando sus aportes por medio de tres formas de acción que llevó a cabo destacadamente: inserción en redes transnacionales, promoción de temas de investigación y gestión institucional. A lo largo de los apartados nos hemos propuesto recuperar su voz, intentando incorporar su visión sobre la historia de un desarrollo científico en el cual le ha cabido un papel fundamental. No ano 2016 foram comemorados os oitenta anos de vida da Dra. Ana María Lorandi, quem dedicou mais de cinquenta anos à pesquisa académica. O presente a encontra tão ativa como sempre, trabalhando em projetos novos e acompanhando as novas gerações de antropólogos interessados na Etnohistoria. Ao escrevermos este artigo, pensamos em homenageá-la examinando sua contribuição por meio de três formas de ação que ela desenvolveu extraordinariamente: gestão, pesquisa e inserção em redes transnacionais.
