These authors theorize about psychoanalytical interventions in the institutional sphere. Furthermore, some contributions of Galende and Lewkowicz, who delve into socio-political aspects of this issue, are developed. This topic was worked out in a thesis. The most relevant aspects that compose it are covered in this paper: here they are enriched and deepened. The approaches to patients who suffered situations of extreme vulnerability, from the inclusion of a student in a professional practice within the area of university extension of the Faculty of Psychology, UBA (University of Buenos Aires), worked as a trigger for the inquiry presented here. La especificidad del rol de psicoanalista comprende, además de los clásicos contextos de intervención, una dimensión social, un potencial transformador, que resulta visible cuando se trabaja en el área comunitaria. Partiendo de Freud y Pichon Riviere, se recogen conceptualizaciones de destacados psicoanalistas argentinos, Bleger y Ulloa, quienes teorizan sobre las intervenciones del psicoanalista en el ámbito institucional. Además, se desarrollan aportes de Galende y Lewkowicz, quienes ahondan en el aspecto socio -político de esta cuestión. Esta temática fue desarrollada en una tesis de grado. Los aspectos más relevantes que la componen son abarcados en el presente escrito: aquí se enriquecen y profundizan. El acercamiento a problemáticas de pacientes que padecían situaciones de extrema vulnerabilidad, a partir de la inclusión de un estudiante en una práctica profesional y en el área de extensión universitaria de la Facultad de Psicología, UBA, operó como disparador de la indagación que aquí se presenta.
