The case of ‘heaven’ (οὐρανός) is peculiar, as it might be considered odd to call with this name the whole reality. We intend thus to show which are the philological abilities used by Aristotle to determine three senses of this term. These senses are better explained in the context of the philosophical doctrine of place (τόπος), in the light of which ‘heaven’ is understood as the place of all things, or the universe itself. Estos se entienden mejor en el contexto de la doctrina filosófica del lugar (τόπος), a la luz de la cual el ‘cielo’ es entendido como el lugar de todas las cosas o el universo mismo. application/pdf https://revistascientificas.filo.uba.ar/index.php/afc/article/view/2529 10.34096/afc.v1i28.2529 spa Facultad de Filosofía y Letras, Universidad de Buenos Aires https://revistascientificas.filo.uba.ar/index.php/afc/article/view/2529/2169 Anales de Filología Clásica; Vol. 1 Núm. 28 (2015); 49-66 2362-4841 0325-1721 Aristóteles nombres mundo Aristotle names world Names meaning ‘world’ in Aristotle: κόσμος, τὸ ὅλον, τὸ πᾶν, τὰ πάντα, τὰ πράγματα, τὰ ὄντα, φύσις, and οὐρανός Los nombres que significan ‘mundo’ en Aristóteles: κόσμος, τὸ ὅλον, τὸ πᾶν, τὰ πάντα, τὰ πράγματα, τὰ ὄντα, φύσις y οὐρανός info:eu-repo/semantics/article info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersion Artículo revisado por pares https://repositoriouba.sisbi.uba.ar/gsdl/cgi-bin/library.cgi?a=d&c=anafilog&d=2529_oai
