| Sumario: | The implementation of Universal Child Assignment for Social Protection (AUH) was innovative in different aspects. On the one hand because it is a program of monetary transfers that moves away from the dominant practices until that moment of transferring goods in kind. Additionally, the program incorporates conditionalities in health and education, in order to extend the long-term impacts and break the intergenerational cycle of poverty.
The objective of this paper is to analyze the relevance and impact of health conditionality on the consumption of health services by the target population of the AUH; as well as in the quality of the services. The analysis is made on the basis of the results of the Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey (MICS) process carried out by the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and the Survey of Protection and Social Security (ENAPROSS 2015) of the Ministry of Employment. |
