Sumario:The present study is the result of a series of research projects carried out by the author on the relationship between music and drama and its possibilities of interaction. At first, the main functions of musical aspects employed by referential theatrical directors were identified and the collected data, cross-checked with principles of music pedagogy to allow for the understanding of the interactional phenomenon in the mentioned areas. Subsequently, a practical investigation was developed applying the collected data with groups of actors and musicians. The experimentation provided a better understanding of the scenic-musical interaction through which it was possible to identify mechanisms or indicators considered capable of guiding the development of pedagogic and artistic practices, concerning the relationship between musicality and the scene.
