The structural level of the piece along with some of the resources of Greek tragedy used by Cortázar will also studied. Besides, in this resemantization of the classical myth, the resignification potential latent in the construction of the different characters in the light of the heroic figure will be examined. El propósito del presente artículo es realizar un estudio comparativo entre el poema dramático Los reyes, escrito por Julio Cortázar, y el mito del Minotauro. El abordaje partirá desde los primeros vínculos del autor con la mitología griega para luego adentrarse en el análisis de diversos aspectos de la obra. El nivel estructural de la pieza junto con algunos de los recursos que utiliza Cortázar de la tragedia griega serán objeto de estudio del presente trabajo.
