The German research seminar model was adapted, providing it with a methodology based on the use and criticism of written sources, a collaborative bias was imprinted on the research and organized the dissemination of the results to guarantee its social appropriation. Se muestra el papel de los seminarios en el nuevo modelo de investigación que se implementó en la recién creada Facultad de Ciencias Económicas de la Universidad de Buenos Aires. Se examinan diversas fuentes de la época para caracterizar los seminarios de investigación y las publicaciones que originaron.
