While the Mothers and the Grandmothers of Plaza de Mayo are well known in relation to this period, the perspectives and experiences of women survivors (some of whom also belong to the organizations mentioned) have been less disseminated. In recent years, works with feminist sensibilities have analyzed the ways in which women detained under the framework of “subversion” were disciplined, including the use of varied repertoires of gender and sexual violence. This article, which is based on forty-one testimonies of women survivors, aims to highlight these women’s assessment of their journey and the message they want to convey with their testimonies. These women report experiences of suffering and horror, but also offer an opportunity to reflect on visions and strategies for the present and the future. That is, they are not just traumatized, raped or humiliated bodies, but women who have other important things to say and contribute to social memory. Las voces de sobrevivientes de los centros clandestinos de detención de la última dictadura militar en Argentina han sido relativamente poco escuchadas, y este es el caso especialmente respecto a ciertas experiencias de mujeres sobrevivientes. Mientras que las Madres y las Abuelas de Plaza de Mayo han tenido considerable visibilidad en relación a este período, las perspectivas y experiencias de mujeres sobrevivientes (algunas de las cuales también pertenecen a las organizaciones mencionadas) están menos difundidas. En los últimos años, trabajos con sensibilidad feminista han analizado los modos en que las mujeres secuestradas bajo el marco de “subversión” fueron disciplinadas, incluyendo variados repertorios de violencia de género y sexual. El presente trabajo, basado en cuarenta y un testimonios de mujeres sobrevivientes, se propone destacar el balance que ellas realizan de su recorrido y el mensaje que quieren transmitir con sus testimonios. Estas mujeres relatan experiencias de sufrimiento y horror, pero también ofrecen una oportunidad para reflexionar sobre visiones y estrategias para el presente y el futuro.
