Real data regarding distances and stocks of these small companies were collected, followed by a series of assumptions on which the exercise is fully developed. Once the information on their sales and purchases was gathered, an estimate was calculated for the transport costs with which to proceed to the development of the method of the northwest corner to make their routes explicit and followed by the method of jumping from stone to stone to optimize to obtain the most efficient route between these. En base a tres pequeños editores independientes en Valparaíso a los que se les propuso aplicar un sistema de control logístico para sus entradas de materiales desde proveedores y para sus salidas de productos terminados hasta los puntos de ventas. Se relevaron datos reales en cuanto a distancias y existencias de estas pequeñas empresas, seguido se prepararon una serie de supuestos sobre los cuales se desarrolla el ejercicio de forma completa.
