Terranova, Lucas 2021-06-30 This article examines the current status of deindustrialization processes in a group of developed countries and Argentina, from 1995 to 2017. Considering the dynamics of capitalist competition, it proposes an update of the debate on these processes in an aggregate way, while carrying out a study among the different size of establishment presented by the industries in each of the countries. The comparisons within and between them allow the identification of different trajectories, even in processes of "positive" deindustrialization. At the same time, it shows the existing differences with the "premature" deindustrializations, such as the Argentine case.
