The program offers financial support accompanied by the requirement to design and implement a community impact project in the student’s hometown, thereby proposing an articulation between academic training, territorial belonging, and social engagement. Based on an approach that understands youth as dynamic and heterogeneous social actors, the article examines the scope of the program from its implementation in 2016 to the present, considering both its institutional framework and its symbolic and material impact. El artículo analiza el Programa de Becas “Poder Estudiar”, una iniciativa impulsada por el Diputado Avelino Zurro, en el marco de la Cámara de Diputados de la provincia de Buenos Aires, destinada a jóvenes universitarios oriundos de la cuarta sección electoral. El programa ofrece un estímulo económico acompañado del requisito de formular un proyecto de impacto comunitario vinculado a la carrera que estudian, a desarrollar en los distritos desde donde provienen, proponiendo así una articulación entre formación académica, territorio y compromiso social.
