To sum up, a complex parody of the judicial world (paradikia) can be ascertained. This literary device seems to represent an outstanding feature of the comic genre.  El objetivo del presente trabajo es examinar de qué modo puede pensarse en ciertas líneas de continuidad en el tratamiento teatral del sustrato jurídico entre la Comedia Antigua y la Comedia Nueva. En particular, un estudio retórico-jurídico de la escena del arbitraje en el Acto II de Epitrépontes de Menandro permite dar cuenta de algunas estrategias dramáticas (la hiperbolización, la inversión y la transcontextualización) ya presentes en el corpus aristofánico.
