The system hardware is based on the ESP32 from Espressif Systems and a series of low-cost commercial modules to supply the RTC (real time clock) functionalities, Ethernet connection, internal storage and RS485 connection. Taking advantage of the availability of Wi-Fi embedded in the ESP32, the system communicates with a personal computer, where a custom-made software allows to make adjustments to the system and to graphically visualize the data. The results obtained allowed to put into operation the meteorological station WS501-UMB of the Lufft company, which lacked the data logger; at present, the system is being used by the Cuban Agricultural Engineering Institute (Instituto de Ingeniería Agrícola de Cuba, IAgric). El presente trabajo describe el diseño e implementación del hardware y software de un sistema de adquisición y procesamiento de datos de una estación meteorológica. El hardware del sistema está basado en el ESP32 de Espressif Systems y una serie de módulos comerciales de bajo costo para suplir las funcionalidades de RTC (real time clock), la conexión vía ethernet, el almacenamiento interno y la conexión vía RS485. Aprovechando la disponibilidad de Wi-Fi embebida en el ESP32, el sistema se comunica con una computadora personal, donde un software hecho a medida permite realizar ajustes al sistema y visualizar gráficamente los datos.
