This site vas previously analyzed by Cigliano and presented as a case of hunter-gatherer occupation. Through our field work we delimited the surface of the site and collect surface materials. Technological studies focused on the description of lithic production activities. On Ampajango site were developed from the first activities of the production sequence (removal of base forms, preparation of bifaces) to formalization and regularization of the edges. We propose that Ampajango site would have served as a quarry-workshop site only moments before the development of agro-pottery societies. Afterwards, other landscapes wer built and overlapped indicating a different conception of space.
