This article aims to reflect on the tensions between the intentions of the research and the realities of fieldwork in the context of the production of photographic images in a series of workshops carried out in a peripheral neighborhood in the city of Córdoba (Argentina). The initial proposal was centered on the elaboration of visual narratives from the neighborhood, in order to respond to the stigmatizing views elaborated from outside. In the possibility of producing their own images, the importance of nature and beauty appeared in the perception of the neighborhood, where the inhabitants find value in their natural surroundings, often ignored by people from outside this neighborhood. The research reveals that neighborhood identity is not to be found in the cultural representation imposed from outside, but in the everyday experience and contact with nature. |

El presente artículo se propone reflexionar sobre las tensiones entre las intenciones de la investigación y las realidades del trabajo de campo en el contexto de la producción de imágenes fotográficas en una serie de talleres realizados en un barrio periférico de la ciudad de Córdoba (Argentina). La propuesta inicial se centraba en la elaboración de relatos visuales desde el barrio, para dar respuesta a las miradas estigmatizantes elaboradas desde afuera. En la posibilidad de producir sus propias imágenes, apareció la importancia de la naturaleza y la belleza en la percepción del barrio, donde los habitantes encuentran valor en su entorno natural, a menudo ignorado por quienes no lo habitan. La investigación revela que la identidad barrial no se encuentra en la representación cultural impuesta desde afuera, sino en la vivencia cotidiana y el contacto con la naturaleza. Este artigo tem como objetivo refletir sobre as tensões entre as intenções da pesquisa e as realidades do trabalho de campo no contexto da produção de imagens fotográficas em uma série de oficinas realizadas em um bairro periférico da cidade de Córdoba (Argentina). A proposta inicial estava centrada na elaboração de narrativas visuais do bairro, a fim de responder às visões estigmatizantes elaboradas de fora. Na possibilidade de produzir suas próprias imagens, a importância da natureza e da beleza apareceu na percepção do bairro, onde os habitantes encontram valor em seu ambiente natural, muitas vezes ignorado pelas narrativas estigmatizantes.
