While these were presented as “subversive criminals”, the military knew that this action was directed against the provincial secretariat of Montoneros, concluding violently with the actions of the group in the northern province of Argentina.  El objetivo principal de este estudio consiste en analizar un acontecimiento sucedido en Tucumán el 20 de mayo de 1976, al que los militares llamaron “el combate de la calle Azcuénaga”, donde fueron “abatidos” cinco guerrilleros de la Agrupación Montoneros.
