La excavación de la cripta funeraria del período cristiano bizantino n. 1 del Sector 29 en la Necrópolis Alta de Oxirrinco (Minia, Egipto) ha permitido registrar algunos depósitos faunísti-cos que difieren formal y conceptualmente de los depósitos habituales de productos alimentarios y que no forman parte de la dieta habitual de la ciudad.
