Sumario:The First World War showed a disjunctive to Argentina. The National Government bet for maintaining the support fot the agricultural sector while Jujuy tried an industrial promotion strategy. This period was headed by a ucr government, which governed the province in the 1918-1930 period. This paper aims to understand the industrial promotion laws context and motivations that took the Northern Province to pass them and the features and effects of this project.
