On the other hand, this metatheatricality is in tension with the circumstances of the external world that reach us in the form of commentaries and noises coming from off-stage: the Peronist hymn that comes with Evita´s train, the turmoils with the death of Irigoyen and the Centenary of the Independence celebration. The tense articulation between these two dimensions –the metatheatrical and the off-stage– reveals meaningful interpretations of the play.  La trilogía de Binetti y Saba aborda tres momentos de la historia política argentina de los últimos 100 años a través de tres grupos de personas que realizan actividades artísticas. En este sentido, se propone una metateatralidad que engloba a los personajes artistas y su quehacer, exponiendo las dificultades que enfrentan. Por otro lado, esta metateatralidad está en tensión con las circunstancias del exterior que nos llegan mediante los comentarios de los personajes y los ruidos de fuera: la marcha peronista del tren de Evita, los tumultos por la muerte de Irigoyen, las celebraciones del Centenario.
