At the same time, the very characteristic of the collectible object limits its use, generating a magical aura around it that, when desecrated, loses its properties. This paper is a critical analysis of the character of Lupus in the play El centrofoward murió al amanecer written by Agustín Cuzzani in 1955. In particular, the analysis engages with the work of Walter Benjamin and contemporary thinkers such as Giorgio Agamben and Beatriz Sarlo. Un coleccionista tiene la vista puesta en los objetos, en sus datos más relevantes, en ser extravagante al categorizar sus colecciones. Si bien, puede haber una gran variedad de formas de coleccionar (y sin duda de objetos a coleccionar) el común denominador de ello es el carácter de la falta y el deseo que hace que las colecciones sean siempre incompletas. A su vez, la propia característica del objeto coleccionable limita el uso de estos, generando un espacio mágico a su alrededor que al profanarlo pierde sus propiedades.
