La cuestión del sujeto puede encontrar su lugar en la antropología como un tercer concepto que permita trascender los diversos sentidos atribuidos a las nociones de persona e individuo, sin por ello eliminarlos. La figura del sujeto permite ultrapasar las problemáticas de la identidad que ocupara la antropología, desde sus orígenes hasta las polémicas más recientes oponiendo el comunitarismo y la república. A questão do sujeito pode encontrar o seu lugar na antropologia como um terceiro conceito que permite transcender os diferentes sentidos atribuídos às noções de pessoa e indivíduo, sem por isso eliminá-los.
