The study population selected for this research corresponds to the personal archive of Juan Carlos Gené, held at the Instituto de Artes del Espectáculo, which belongs to the Facultad de Filosofía y Letras of the Universidad de Buenos Aires. In order to obtain a more detailed overview of the state of the archive, a data collection instrument was designed for subsequent analysis in relation to what exists in the personal archive, the producer's activities, and their representation in the classification scheme.   ARK CAICYT: http://id.caicyt.gov.ar/ark:/s18511740/w9955crs2   El propósito de este trabajo es analizar los métodos y prácticas archivísticas en los fondos personales con respecto a la organización y se hace foco en los procedimientos que se llevan a cabo para la confección de los cuadros de clasificación en fondos de personas vinculadas a las artes del espectáculo. La población de análisis estuvo conformada por el fondo del archivo del destacado actor, director, dramaturgo y docente argentino Juan Carlos Gené, que se encuentra en el Instituto de Artes del Espectáculo "Dr. Raúl H. Castagnino" perteneciente a la Facultad de Filosofía y Letras de la Universidad de Buenos Aires.
