My purpose is to establish the anthropological specificity of the approach from its premisese to its possible results in theoretical and methodological terms. En este trabajo me propongo reflexionar sobre la definición de mi tema de investigación: los procesos de etnogénesis en el espacio guaraní-misionero después de la expulsión de los jesuitas. Intento reconstruir ese "camino" partiendo de las primeras preguntas formuladas, considerando sus obstáculos y evaluando algunas de las conclusiones a las que pude arribar. Pretendo contribuir a establecer la especificidad antropológica del enfoque, desde sus premisas hasta sus posibles resultados en términos teórico-metodológicos. Neste artigo, proponho refletir sobre a definição do meu tema de pesquisa: os processos de etnogênese no espaço guarani-missionário após a expulsão dos jesuítas. Procuro reconstruir esse "caminho" partindo das questões iniciais, considerando seus obstáculos e avaliando algumas das conclusões a que consegui chegar.
