description The problem of the relationship between individual and structure is constitutive of the discipline of Sociology, and a good teaching proposal for this subject should recover that interrelation, but how to do it? Usually, the interpretations of the students move in two explanatory extremes: either society determines all our behaviors, or it is the autonomous individual who with their actions transforms society. The use of first-hand accounts as a didactic resource is a privileged way to question both explanatory extremes and to promote new interpretations of this interrelationship, bringing students closer to this complex dynamic in which the subjects are both constructors and constructed by society. From this intention, we will characterize the possibilities and criteria for working with testimonials in Sociology classes in High School, based on the results of a didactic investigation carried out in schools in the Province of Buenos Aires developed between 2017 and 2020, which consisted of the construction proposals for teaching content specific to Sociology; its implementation in the classroom, observation and follow-up; and finally, an analysis of various aspects of the proposals developed.

El problema de la relación entre sujeto y estructura es constitutivo de la disciplina de la Sociología, y una buena propuesta de enseñanza para esta materia debería recuperar esa interrelación, pero ¿de qué modo hacerlo? Usualmente, las interpretaciones de los estudiantes se mueven en dos extremos explicativos: o la sociedad determina todos nuestros comportamientos o es el individuo autónomo quien, con sus acciones, transforma la sociedad. El uso de relatos de primera mano como recurso didáctico es una vía privilegiada para poner en cuestión ambos extremos explicativos y para propiciar nuevas interpretaciones en torno a esta interrelación, aproximando a los estudiantes a esta compleja dinámica en la que los sujetos son tanto constructores como construidos por la sociedad. Desde esta intención, caracterizaremos las posibilidades y criterios para el trabajo con testimonios en clases de Sociología en Escuela Secundaria, apoyándonos en los resultados de una investigación didáctica realizada en escuelas de la Provincia de Buenos Aires entre 2017 y 2020, que consistió en la construcción de propuestas de enseñanza de contenidos propios de la Sociología; su puesta en aula, observación y seguimiento; y por último, presentamos un análisis de diversos aspectos de las propuestas desarrolladas. O problema da relação entre sujeito e estrutura é constitutivo da disciplina de Sociologia, e uma boa proposta de ensino desta disciplina deve recuperar essa inter-relação, mas como fazê-lo? Normalmente, as interpretações dos alunos caminham em dois extremos explicativos: ou a sociedade determina todos os nossos comportamentos, ou é o indivíduo autônomo que com suas ações transforma a sociedade. A utilização de relatos de primeira mão como recurso didático é uma forma privilegiada de questionar os dois extremos explicativos e promover novas interpretações dessa inter-relação, aproximando os alunos dessa complexa dinâmica em que os sujeitos são construtores e construídos pela sociedade.
