In this text, we propose a review of the spatiality in music experience based on the notions of space, place and territory. Our conclusions aim to relate, after two decades, Timothy Rice's proposal on musical experience with other authors beyond musicology, who have addressed the relationship between experience, time and space. We have proposed to rethink the axes on which musical experience is articulated, highlighting the role of territory as a concept that encompasses ethnicities and historical uses of space in which music can unite part of that experience. Las nociones relativas a la espacialidad han sido utilizadas de modo polisémico en el campo de la etnomusicología, lo cual ha posibilitado una progresiva apertura a modos complejos de entender cómo el sujeto social experimenta la práctica de la música. En el presente trabajo, planteamos una relectura de la espacialidad en la experiencia musical a partir de un análisis de las nociones de espacio, lugar y territorio. Nuestras conclusiones apuntan a relacionar, después de dos décadas, la propuesta de Timothy Rice sobre la experiencia musical con otros autores fuera de la musicología que han abordado la relación entre experiencia, tiempo y espacio. Nos hemos propuesto repensar los ejes en los cuales se articula la experiencia musical, relevando el rol del territorio como concepto que articula etnicidades y usos históricos del espacio en los que la música puede aunar parte de esa experiencia. As noções relacionadas à espacialidade têm sido usadas de forma polissêmica no campo da etnomusicologia, o que possibilitou uma abertura progressiva para formas complexas de entender como o sujeito social vivencia a prática da música. Neste artigo, propomos uma releitura da espacialidade na experiência musical com base em uma análise das noções de espaço, lugar e território. Nossas conclusões visam relacionar, após duas décadas, a proposta de Timothy Rice sobre experiência musical com outros autores fora da musicologia que abordaram a relação entre experiência, tempo e espaço.
